Karen Kjærgaard

curator, exhibition designer

Karen is a curator and exhibition architect with 28 years of experience in curating design and architecture exhibitions. Over the past three years she has been Curator and Head of Exhibitions at Arhus Arkitektskolen, where she showcases the schools growing body of work on campus, around Aarhus, and globally. She recently returned from showing student work at the Milan Design Exhibition 2016. She discusses how she sees classic Danish design as remaining in the past, but how designers today can use media and technology to produce designs relevant to today’s world and for the future.
